~ Improve flexibility and performance

~ Improve overall health and well-being

~ Promote healing through increasing circulation and releasing muscle tension

EACH SESSION INVOLVES:

~ Physical assessment to determine immediate pain and tension points

~ Full-body massage to alleviate muscle tension

~ Non-invasive skeletal alignments using the animal's own body as resistance to achieve this.

LOCATIONS:

To spare a potentially tight or injured horse the added stress of travel, I come to you! I am based in Braidwood, NSW but service the entire South Coast region, Southern Highlands, Snowy Monaro and everywhere in between.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us at sam@monacoequine.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

On average, horses take about 30-40 minutes and dogs approximately 15-20. However, session length will vary depending on the issues present and how the body responds. I spend as much time as the animal requires to get the best result on the day.

Horses are $100 and dogs are $70 flat rate, plus GST. Additional travel charges may be applicable.

I trained under Kim Horne of Equiphoria. You can find links to Equiphoria courses here.

I don't like using the term "fix" in conjunction with a body issue as it implies that the horse or dog is "broken". The body is incredibly intelligent and issues will never arise for no reason. Instead of trying to "fix" issues, I work with the animal's body to address the root cause as well as alleviate symptoms.

That being said, alleviating tension, pain or trauma can help with a large variety of issues including:

- Bucking, bolting or biting

- Reluctance to move forward

- Head-shaking or head-shyness

- "Cranky" disposition

- Girthiness

- Stiffness

- Difficulty picking up correct canter lead

- Disuniting in canter

Bodywork can also relieve tension that arises from compensating for arthritis, injury, conformational faults etc.
